St. Anthony’s Night 2024

Join in the celebration of the Popular Saints in Lisbon, a unique and lively event every year. Locals, known as alfacinhas, honor their patron saint, Saint Anthony, with parades and street parties that last from June 12th to 13th.
The festivities include the Marchas Populares, a traditional neighborhood parade, and the Arraiais, where people gather to eat grilled sardines and enjoy the warm summer nights. This is a one-of-a-kind event that attracts thousands of visitors and lasts until the early hours of the morning.
