Let me tell you a secret. Rossio Gastro rooftop bar is one of my favorite places, with the best view and relaxed atmosphere. But more on that later.

1. Rossio Gastrobar

Why Visit: The best Cocktail menu, dinner date, fancy experience, and central location
Recommended: I recommend reserving a table in advance to secure your patio seat.
My favorite spot in the city center is Rossio Gastrobar, located at the Lisbon National Theater at the iconic Rossio Square.
I would love to visit here as it is centrally located and offers the best views of Lisbon’s downtown area at night, perfect for dinner with family, friends, or someone special.
To get to the rooftop terrace, you will go to Hotel Altis Avenida’s 7th floor. Once you step onto the terrace, enjoy the city views with the best cocktail in your hand.
2. Sky Bar Oriente
Address: Avenida Dom João II 27, 1990-083 Lisboa, Portugal
Why Visit: High-end establishment, a modern skyline view, river views
Recommended: It is not an affordable rooftop restaurant, but grab a drink to enjoy the sunset here.
The Sky Bar Oriente is on the 16th floor of the Tivoli Oriente Lisboa Hotel. It is a popular rooftop bar in the Parque das Nações area.
Enjoy panoramic views of the city’s eastern side and the Tagus River. Here, you will find a unique modern skyline. It is in a prime location, and the surroundings have no shortage of entertainment.
A casino, shopping mall, and the Lisbon Oceanarium are all within walking distance.

3. Memmo Alfama Rooftop

Why Visit: Amazing Views, Quick Bites, Fewer Crowds, and Cozy Atmosphere
Recommended: Enjoy the charcuterie or cheese platter with sangria and relax at one of the coolest rooftop hangouts.
One of the best rooftop restaurants in Lisbon is the Memmo Alfama Bar. It is located in the Memmo Alfama Hotel, which has a fantastic rooftop bar.
If you want to enjoy a private rooftop experience, this is the place to be without the crowds and away from all the tourist hotspots.
The hotel staff at the Memmo Alfama Terrace is always available to accommodate you even if you are not a guest there, and you will feel welcome. The views are breathtaking, and the food and drinks are worth it.
You can enjoy a refreshing cocktail at the same time.
Hot Tip🔥: After a night out, start your morning at one of the coffee cafes in Lisbon paired with a Portuguese custard tart.
4. The V Rooftop Bar

Recommended: Enjoy petiscos, small yet delicious Portuguese tapas with wine or a cocktail.
At the top of The Vintage Hotel is a small yet intimate rooftop bar known as The V Rooftop Bar. It is near the Principe Real district.
Principe Real is a fashionable shopping district with many sightseeing opportunities. While it does not have spectacular views, you can still enjoy the sights while having a fun rooftop dinner.
When I visit Lisbon, I sometimes stay at the hotel and get a 10% discount on everything in the bar. They also have water sprinklers to keep you cool on a hot, sunny day.
They have an incredible non-alcoholic drink with passion fruit I can’t get enough of.
A favorite recommendation is to try the traditional beef strips and pickled sauce known as Pica Pau.

5. The Insólito

The Insólito is a beautiful restaurant with a vast rooftop menu. It has a funky, creative interior offering you spectacular views of Lisbon from the terrace.
The service and food is excellent. The best part is you have one of the most beautiful Lisbon viewpoints, the Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara.

6. Ferroviário

Recommended: Enjoy the spacious 500m2 open area suitable for large groups
Ferroviário offers you charming views and is one of the favorite rooftop restaurants in Lisbon. Enjoy views over the Tagus River, the gateway to the Alfama district.
I recommend making a reservation in advance, as it can fill up fast with live music in the background. It has a tropical vibe, with a lot of greenery and fantastic views, especially the sunset.
7. Lumi Rooftop Restaurant

The Lumi is a fantastic rooftop restaurant you must visit. It sits high on the famous Pedro de Alcântara viewpoint. The interior is awesome, and the outside terrace overlooks downtown Lisbon.
At Lumi, you can enjoy sumptuous meals and drinks with their weekend brunch menus. During the week, you can enjoy the beautiful rooftop, and they also have a kid’s menu.
The area also has some of the best-budget restaurants to explore.
8. Lost In

Why Visit: Exciting Rooftop, Delicious Fusion Food, Best Sunset Spot
Recommended: It has incredible views inside and out, with glass ceiling windows and walls.
The ambiance at Lost In, a rooftop restaurant in a small alleyway in the heart of Lisbon, is spectacular.
It is filled with colorful lounges, chairs, and great graffiti, making it a fantastic rooftop destination.

The owner is Italian, and you can enjoy the best pasta dishes here while you watch the sunset. The beautiful views are excellent on this charming rooftop terrace with spectacular service and a memorable experience.
The biggest downside is you must climb stairs to reach it.

Still, it can get busy over weekends, and it is best to arrive early in the day before the rooftop terrace fills up.
Explore the expertly crafted cocktails on the menu while enjoying a meal.
11. Topo Martim Moniz

Here, you can find ethnic diversity, with people from all walks of life enjoying a good time. The best part is enjoying some arcade games while sipping a cocktail.

An air rooftop terrace with a full view of Lisbon Javá Rooftop is a must-visit. You will find a cool rooftop terrace inside the 8 Building in Cais do Sodré.
Just head inside to find the scenic elevator and enjoy the summer bar on the terrace. Enjoy a tropical fee with fantastic views of the city skyline and river.
One thing is that the sunsets are amazing, with breathtaking views while enjoying a drink and snacks.

While the rooftop restaurant only offers indoor seating, it has large floor-to-ceiling glass with views over Bairro Alto.
Here, you can enjoy fresh sushi or Wagyu Beef, and for drinks, you can sit at the bar, which has an extensive cocktail menu.
It also has an open-air terrace to relax with your drink and perfect 👌 to enjoy a delicious dinner.
You can stay until midnight to dance the night away as the entire terrace becomes one big party.
16. Mensagem

The Lisboa Pessoa Hotel is located in the center of Lisbon, a few minutes’ walk from Chiado. On the top floor, you can find Mensagem.
