While there are no water parks in Lisbon where you can cool down this summer, many are in the surrounding areas.

Each of these aquaparks promises a wet, wild, and fun day. So, while visiting Lisbon, do not miss out on the fun attractions, as you will find something for everyone.

Bob around in the giant wave pools or lay back and relax in the lazy rivers. Take on the tall water shoots or whacky spiral slides for an adrenaline rush.

The park in the Algarve is the largest water park in Europe. Aqualand has many attractions and huge rides.

The biggest ride is the Kamikazee, which stands 36m high. Then you have the Anaconda with five wild slides. Another exciting ride is the Bonzai Boggin, which drops you down 23m to slide across the pool below.

Let the kids swim at the Mini Park, which features giant crayons, a shallow swimming pool, and mini slides to entertain them.

There is also a Congo River where you can float around. One thing is for sure: Aqualand Algarve will keep everyone entertained for the day.

Here, you can enjoy spectacular views over the Tamega River. Prepare for a full day of wild and wet fun for the entire family.

The Amarante Water Park includes wild slides:

  • Rapid Slides – it has rushing water pushing you to enjoy the excitement.
  • Multiple Slides – here, you can race your friends down the tracks.
  • The Snail – while it does slow down, it’s very curvy.

Furthermore, you have the Toboggan, where you ride over long tunnels and the Fast Mountain.

There is a shallow pool for smaller kids to have safe fun, or they can enjoy themselves in the waterfall park, water-based playground, and more.

For the adults, there is a deep pool where they can have a fun time.

Aquashow Water Park is a favorite of all the water parks in Lisbon and surrounding areas. So, if you want something to do with the kids in Lisbon, take them here.

Here, you find attractions for kids indoors and outside. The indoor water park is attached to the hotel. Relax on the lazy river or try the 16-meter Wild Snake, Air Race, Aqua Fly, or even the Water Coaster.

Take the kids to a reptile or bird show, where they can pose for pictures with animals. Then, enjoy an umbrella ⛱ and a picnic basket at the indoor water park.

If you come after 2:30 PM, the rides will have less waiting time.

At the petting farm, the children can enjoy a real pony ride, head to the karting track or large swimming pool, play mini golf ⛳, or enjoy the carnival rides.
