Santa-Justa-Lift-Lisbon

With this central neighborhood, you are within walking distance of some major attractions and other districts like Bairro Alto.

Still,  Jardim do Regedor is the city center pedestrian street that features a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants.

Some attractions in the area include the Sao Jorge Castle, the Santa Justa Lift, and the Carmo Convent.

In Jardim do Regedor, you can enjoy a peaceful stroll, relax on one of the benches, or admire the beautiful fountain and gardens.

Casa Independente is a must-visit spot to experience Lisbon’s lively cultural scene and discover new artists and talents.

Hot Tip: While you can book a room at this cozy place, there are other great hotels for solo travelers you can check out. One good thing is Lisbon is a safe city for people traveling alone. 

Miradouro do Monte Agudo

Miradouro do Monte Agudo

When it comes to Lisbon Miradouros, you can find them from Bairro Alto to the Alfama district; the Miradouro do Monte Agudo is a popular viewpoint in Lisbon, Portugal.

From this viewpoint, you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the city, including the historic center, the river Tagus, and the 25 de Abril Bridge. To reach the viewpoint, you can climb up the hill on foot, which will take about 20 minutes from Martim Moniz Square.

Alternatively, you can take the 760 bus, which will take you directly to the viewpoint. Miradouro do Monte Agudo is a great spot to relax and enjoy the view, especially during sunset.

There are benches and a small café where you can grab a drink or a snack. It’s also a popular spot for photography, so don’t forget to bring your camera!

The market is open every day except on Sundays, and it’s a great place to shop for fresh, locally sourced ingredients or to grab a quick bite to eat to enjoy a perfect time.

Furthermore, it is an ideal location with beautiful houses near Bairro Alto & Principe Real.

One of the top spots for live music is the famous Musicbox, which hosts top DJs and live bands every week.
